The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, skuel terbaru dari film The Hobbit yang dirilis pada tanggal 17 Desember beberapa waktu lalu ini berhasil menempati posisi pertama di BoxOffice Amerika dengan perolehan laba sebesar 56.2 juta dollar seperti diinformasikan IGN disusul oleh Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Annie, Exodus: Gods and Kings dan  The Hunger Games, Mockingjay Part 1.
